Sombra is de nieuwe hero van Overwatch

Blizzard heeft tijdens BlizzCon al een eerste reveal gedaan, deze is voor Overwatch en het gaat over de nieuwe hero! Haar naam is Sombra. Blizzard kennende, steken ze veel tijd in de zogenaamde 'lore', het achtergrondverhaal achter alle characters. We posten deze hieronder zodat je Blizzards' omschrijving kan checken. Youtuber Arekkz heeft een complete overview gemaakt van Sombra, waarin hij in-depth gaat over haar abilities en strategie.

Haar abilities:

• Machine Pistol: volautomatisch machine-pistool dat in een korte afstand spread kogels afvuurt.
• Hack: Vijanden hacken om ze tijdelijk te weerhouden van het gebruiken van hun abilities, of first-aid kits hacken om ze onbruikbaar te maken voor de vijand.
• Thermoptic Camo: Sombra kan onzichtbaar worden voor een korte tijd, tegelijkertijd wordt haar snelheid hard geboost. Aanvallen of damage incasseren schakelt de camouflage uit.
• Translocator: Sombra goot een translocator beacon op de grond. Zolang deze actief is kan Sombra terugkeren naar deze locatie, zelfs 'in combat'.
• EMP: Deze ability released een elektromagnetische energie in een wijde radios, waarmee Sombra vijandelijke barriers kan verwoesten. Dan kan ze iedere vijand 'affected' hacken.

Long before she took up the alias “Sombra,” she was among the thousands of children who were left orphaned in the aftermath of the Omnic Crisis. Sombra launched an even more audacious string of hacks, and her exploits earned her no shortage of admirers, including Talon. She joined the organization’s ranks and is believed to have contributed to its massive cyberattacks against corporations with strong ties to their governments. These efforts incited a popular revolution in Mexico against LumériCo and breached the security of Volskaya Industries, the manufacturing arm of Russia’s anti-omnic defense.”
