Microsoft kondigt Gamescom line-up aan

De softwaregigant houdt er een volle planning op na.

Via Xbox Wire heeft Microsoft hun plannen voor Gamescom 2022 uit de doeken gedaan. Het evenement vindt plaats in Keulen, Duitsland en Microsoft heeft aangegeven dat bezoekers aan de slag kunnen met games zoals A Plague Tale: Requiem, Grounded, Age of Empires 4 en meer. Hier volgt de volledige lijst van first- en third-party titels:

Microsoft zendt op donderdag 25 augustus van 14:00 uur tot 20:00 uur ook een livestream uit vanaf de Xbox-booth. Daarin wordt gepraat met diverse ontwikkelaars en worden allerlei games getoond, waaronder deze:

• Sea of Thieves (Rare Games / Xbox Game Studios)
• Lies of P (Neowiz)

• Pentiment (Obsidian Entertainment / Xbox Game Studios)
• A Plague Tale: Requiem (Asobo Studio / Focus Entertainment)
• Minecraft Legends (Mojang Studios & Blackbird Interactive / Xbox Game Studios)

Er zal ook een nieuwe Xbox app op de beursvloer worden getoond voor de meest recente Samsung-televisies. Microsoft is één van de weinige grote partijen die dit jaar aanwezig zijn op Gamescom. Onder andere Sony, Nintendo en Activision Blizzard hebben al aangegeven dit jaar niet naar Keulen te komen.

Op 23 augustus presenteert Geoff Keighley wel Gamescom Opening Night Live, en een dag daarna wordt ook de Future Games Show-presentatie gehouden.
